WebCo Digital ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described below. We take the view that we should hold as little of your information as possible, for as short a time as possible.
What we collect
We collect personal data in three situations:
- When you contact us. Your name, business name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work.
- When you become a client. Billing details, project materials you send us, and account credentials you choose to share so we can do the work.
- When you browse this site. Anonymised analytics — pages viewed, approximate region, device type and referring source. Analytics only load after you consent.
Legal basis
- Consent — for analytics cookies and for contacting you in response to an enquiry form you submit.
- Contract — to deliver services you have engaged us for.
- Legal obligation — to retain invoices and financial records as required by Revenue.
- Legitimate interests — to keep our own systems secure and to maintain basic business records.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: 12 months, then deleted.
- Client project records: for the duration of the engagement plus 12 months.
- Invoices and financial records: six years, as required by Irish tax law.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we never share it for marketing. We use a small number of processors to run the business, each bound by a data processing agreement:
- Our hosting and email providers, for delivering this site and our correspondence
- Our form provider, for delivering enquiries from this website to our inbox
- Our analytics provider, for anonymised usage statistics
- Our accountant, for invoicing and statutory records
Data is stored within the European Economic Area wherever possible. Where a provider transfers data outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies until you consent. If you accept analytics, a small number of first-party cookies record anonymised usage. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased, where we have no overriding legal obligation to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we process it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these, email andreyvozniuk2001@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted with TLS. Client credentials are stored in an encrypted password manager and access is limited to the people working on your project. We use multi-factor authentication on every account that supports it.
